4-Bedroom Modern Farmhouse Exterior
The exterior of the modern farmhouse features a welcoming green siding and natural wood accents. Black-framed windows with white trim add beautiful contrast to the facade.
Two carriage-style single garage doors offer additional character. In the rear of the home, a covered back patio offers seamless outdoor living and leads to an additional brick-laid patio.
Modern Farmhouse Interior
The modern farmhouse interior showcases eye-catching details at every turn. It’s hard to know where to begin to truly take in this expert craftsmanship. The home is designed to perfection and beautifully embodies the modern farmhouse style.
The open-concept floor plan features warm floors and recessed lighting that extends throughout. An oversized living area leads effortlessly into a gourmet kitchen. A clean line from the kitchen leads to the sun-soaked dining room.
Immediately upon entry into the home, a practical multi-purpose space awaits. The flexible space can be utilized as a study, a formal dining area, or a play area.
Two colorful sliding barn doors flank a built-in bookshelf and add a modern farmhouse flair to the space. The space is accessed through the front entry or double glass doors in the living area.
A powder bathroom also resides just beyond the main entrance of the home. While the half bathroom sits adjacent to the primary suite, a small foyer offers enough privacy to keep both areas separate. The bathroom includes a single vanity and shiplap details.
The bright and airy living room is a showstopper. When you first enter the space, the exposed beams and shiplap accent wall offer modern farmhouse appeal. A double-sided fireplace is at the center of the room. The see-through fireplace, with a set of double doors on either side, offers seamless flow to the covered back patio.
The covered back patio couldn’t get any cozier. The exterior side of the fireplace is adorned floor to ceiling with bricks. A convenient outdoor ceiling fan keeps air circulating.
The gourmet kitchen is probably like nothing you’ve ever seen before. The eat-in kitchen boasts a unique T-shaped island that fits four barstools. The entertainer’s island also has a built-in wine rack and oversized farmhouse sink. Two modern light fixtures reside on either side of the sink.
Across from the island, textured subway tiles line the back wall. The back wall includes a range with a polished range hood and rustic floating shelves. Because this home was built with a family in mind, a second oven, microwave, and double-door refrigerator are located just beyond.
Owner’s Entry and Laundry Room
The owner’s entry just off the kitchen leads to a laundry room and walk-in pantry. The laundry room features tile flooring and washer and dryer hookups. Down the hall, a wall of built-ins provides a quasi-mudroom space to store shoes and coats.
Finally, continue down the hallway to access a large, walk-in pantry. The pantry includes built-in racks, perfect for storing smaller kitchen appliances and gadgets.
The dining room features all the rustic charm you hope to see in a modern farmhouse design. It’s hard to know just where to start with this sun-soaked dining area. The natural, wood-paneled ceiling is broken up by cream-colored exposed beams. The wood detailing also extends to the walls surrounding the dining area.
Natural light flows in through windows that overlook the side and backyards of the home. A single door grants access to the covered back patio.
Entry-Level Master Suite
The entry-level Mater suite is one of two primary suites in the home. Yes, I said two! The first is located on the first floor, with an additional primary suite located upstairs. The entry-level master suite features crown molding, recessed lighting, and carpet flooring.
Enter the sprawling suite through a set of double doors just beyond the main entry of the home. The massive room easily fits a king bed, dresser, nightstands, and an armchair.
A row of windows casts natural light into the space while a transom window leads down a private hallway to the primary closet. The walk-in closet is what people mean when they say a “dream closet.” Three walls are adorned with built-in hanging, cubby, and cabinet storage while the fourth wall includes a convenient window.
En-Suite Master Bathroom
The en-suite master bathroom offers a spa-like experience. A freestanding soaker tub resides beside a large, glass-enclosed shower. The tile-surround shower features two shower heads and is lit by overhead transom windows.
Two separate, oversized vanities sit on either side of the bathroom entry. The vanities provide a surplus of counter space and cabinetry, alike. A water closet resides in the corner.
A set of nearly-hidden stairs leads from the dining area to the upper level. A carpeted multi-purpose room with built-in bookshelves awaits on the upper level. This space is perfect for a second living area, a kid’s play area, and more.
The flexibility for a family adds appeal and value to the home. Steps beyond the multi-purpose room lead to an unfinished attic space.
Upper-Level Primary Suite
The “Townsend Grand” floor plan includes not one but two primary suites. The second is located on the upper level of the home and is just as sprawling as the first. Crown molding, carpet flooring, and a luxurious en-suite bathroom remain consistent.
The en-suite bathroom includes an oversized single vanity, glass-enclosed, tile-surround shower, water closet, and access to a walk-in closet. While this walk-in closet isn’t quite as big as the entry-level walk-in closet, it still includes ample space and built-in hanging racks.
Two additional bedrooms complete the upper level of the home. Both bedrooms feature carpet flooring, closet space, and access to a Jack-and-Jill bathroom.
The bathroom includes a convenient double vanity, tile flooring, and a tubbed shower.
The two-car garage is located just off the owner’s entry in the interior of the home. The garage fits two cars with ease and features wooden, carriage-style garage doors.
