Beracah Homes “Hayshaker” Exterior
The outside of Beracah Homes Hayshaker has more curb appeal than you can shake a stick at. It has that classic modern farmhouse look with the white board-and-batten siding all the way around the house. It incorporates black framed windows and black tin roof accents on the awnings over several windows.

They all definitely make a statement, especially against the contrasting white siding. The front of the home also features a beautiful covered porch and a small dormer to really amp up the charm of the home.
Traveling around to the back of the home there are plenty more windows supplying a ton of natural light into the home. You will also find a bump out coming off the back of the home which houses a stunning morning room with a side door coming off the side. This would be a great spot for a deck or patio for when you have friends and family over.
Back here you will also find access to the garage. So with that, you will have a wrap-around driveway or some other configuration since it is on the back of the home. To top the whole farmhouse feel off though, above the garage is a cute white cupola and a black rooster weathervane.

The Living Room
As you step inside the Hayshaker, you are greeted with a gorgeous open-concept layout that starts in the living room. To the right is a gorgeous ship-lapped accent wall running all the way to the stairs.
To the left, you have your living room and a weathered brick fireplace. It has a wonderful brick hearth and a rustic wood mantel. To either side of the fireplace, you will find a window with beautiful built-ins sitting just below them. The living room feels extremely cozy and offers easy views into the kitchen, perfect for entertaining.

The Kitchen and Dining Room
From the living room, you easily transition into the kitchen. Staying to the exterior wall, the first thing you will notice is the walk-in pantry. It has a beautiful wood door and frosted glass.
From there the counter starts, and immediately you find yourself over the amazing undermount farmhouse sink looking out a window into your picturesque side yard. All of the countertops are made of quartz and the herringbone tiled backsplash runs all the way to the ceiling.

Next to the sink, you have a dishwasher and then more counter space. it continues until it makes an “L” shape turn and runs into the oven. Now there are two things I absolutely love in a house and this one has both. They are a pot filler and a luxurious range hood.
In the middle of the kitchen sits a glorious island with so many contraptions hidden within the cabinets. I was really surprised and have yet to see any other modular homes incorporate them. On the back side of the island is a built-in bench with storage underneath and a dining table. Yet another unique feature that Beracah Homes have added to the Hayshaker.
The Morning Room
To the back of the home, as you leave the kitchen and dining room, you will find a lovely morning room. It has a vaulted ceiling with exposed wooden trusses and a rustic chandelier. Surrounding the entire room are multiple windows and your back door.
This space is probably more of a flex room. You could really turn it into a whole number of things including a formal dining room, office, or den to name a few.
Garage and Utility Room
Continuing our tour out of the morning room and making a left, you will see the stairs to the 2nd floor. Beyond that is a half bath. It is situated nicely so that guests don’t have to travel far to find but also isn’t located right off any of the main living areas, especially the kitchen or dining room.

The utility room sits just past the bathroom and doubles as a mud room since you have to pass through it coming and going from the 2 car garage. It has washer and dryer hookups as well as a sophisticated fire system.
The entrance into the two-car garage lies just beyond the utility room. It is large enough for two cars. It is also a great spot for additional storage if you needed it as well as a place to put a nice deep freezer.
The Master Suite
Back downstairs and to the left of the front entrance is the master suite. It is divided from the living room by a sliding barn door and a small hallway. As you enter the room, you are greeted with all the natural light.
There is a transom window over the bed and two big picture windows on the front side of the house. It is a nice big feeling room measuring in at approximately 15’0″x15’0″ with plenty of room for a large king-size bed and a dresser.
Ultimate Guide to Creating Spaces You Never Want to Leave
On the wall towards the backside of the Hayshaker, is the master closet. The closet is nice and deep with solid wood shelves. Definitely more than enough space for a large clothes collection and more.
To the right of the closet sits the entryway into the en-suite. This bathroom features an amazing double vanity with raised sinks to either side of a small makeup vanity. It has an incredible tile backsplash set behind it that climbs all the way to the ceiling.
On the opposite side of the en-suite, a toilet sits nicely tucked behind a small partition just below a cute little window. The best part of this bathroom though is the large tiled walk-in shower with the same tile used for the backsplash behind the vanity and a rainfall shower head.
The 2nd Floor
Taking the stairs to the 2nd level, you will see that the space in this model is unfinished. However, if you were to finish it, you would have room to add 2 additional bedrooms and a full bath.
The nice thing about it not currently being finished is it can be whatever you want it to be. There aren’t any limits beyond your imagination and Beracah Homes will most certainly help bring your ideas to life
Final Thoughts
I have never toured a modular farmhouse prior to the Beracah Homes Hayshaker model. It is and always will be one of my favorite homes. I personally would finish out the 2nd story, since we need the room for three boys. The finishes are all top-of-the-line and Beracah just does an outstanding job on their exquisite homes. Would you finish the 2nd floor or keep it just how it is?
Thank you so much for taking the time to tour this stunning home with us! We hope you have a fantastic day and we will see your beautiful face in the next one!
