Design Homes Exterior Home Design
The outside of this lovely modular home is wrapped in a gorgeous mossy green vinyl siding with tan trim around the windows and doors. On the front of the home there is a large gable. It also has several windows looking out from the living room and secondary bedrooms.
To the right side of the home is a door way leading out of the utility room. Here is where you could add a garage, which would further accentuate the look and character of the front of this modular home.
As you transition around to the back of the home you will encounter more windows peering out of the master bedroom and kitchen areas. There is also a large bump out protruding off the back of the home which houses an incredibly cute morning room. Within the morning room is a sliding glass door that could lead out to a back porch or patio area.
Wisconsin’s Best Modular Home Interior Home Design
Stepping inside this modular home you are greeted with a semi open floor plan with views into the living room, dining room and a portion of the kitchen. To the left of the front door is a nice size coat closet with ample room for jackets and other storage.
To the right of the main entryway is a floor to ceiling partition wall that separates the front door from the living room.
The Living Room
To the right of the front door, going into the living room, it opens to reveal a beautiful space with tall vaulted ceilings. There are two big windows that provide plenty of natural light looking out the front of the home.
The living room provides ample amount of space to place several pieces of furniture in a wide array of layouts.
The Dining Room and Kitchen
From the living room you move into the kitchen and dining room area. On the left-hand side, you will find the dining room which has plenty of space for a large dining room table. Along the wall there is additional space for several different types of decretive cabinets also.
To the right of the dining room is the kitchen. This kitchen is magnificent with so many things going on. To the left, along the back wall looking out towards the back of the home, you do have a fun little area where the stove is placed at a 45-degree angle. Beyond that there is of course a stainless sink sitting just below the window that does look out into the back of the home.
In the far corner there is a nice pantry with plenty of room for tons of food. And then as you scan around the kitchen you will notice a plethora of cabinetry with both upper and lower cabinets everywhere.
In the middle of the kitchen there is also a nice size island with cabinets on one side a little overhang on the other side.
The Morning Room
Just off the dining room there is a set of glass pane French doors that open to reveal the morning room. Within the morning room there are plenty of windows going all the way around the space with a nice fireplace sitting right in the middle.
On the right-hand side of the morning room there is also a sliding glass door that would lead out into a future patio or outdoor living space such as a deck.
The Secondary Bedrooms and Bathroom
All the way through the kitchen, you start working your way towards the secondary bedrooms and the first full bathroom.
The first bedroom that you come to is the smaller of the two on this side of the home it measures in at approximately 9ft 4in X 10ft 0in. It does have a window looking out towards the front of the home as well as a nice sized closet.
I think that this would make a better office, personally, rather than a bedroom. A nursery might also be a good use of the room. (Let me know down in the comments what you would do).
On the opposite side of the hallway, you will come to the second bedroom. This one is much larger measuring in at approximately 11ft 6in X 14ft 0in. It looks out the backside of the home with plenty of space for a larger bed, a couple nightstands and a dresser.
Working further down the hall, on the right-hand side, just past the first bedroom you will come to the first full bathroom. This bathroom features a single vanity, a toilet, and a shower and tub combo.
The Laundry Room
Just passed all the secondary bedrooms and the bathroom at the end of the hall is the door that could lead out to the optional 2 car garage.
To the right of that you will come to the laundry room. The laundry room features a large closet as well as washer and dryer hookups. There is a large window that helps to provide additional light looking out the front side of the home.
The Master Bedroom
Back across the house, just passed the dining room you will find the doorway that leads into the master bedroom. Master bedroom is quite large measuring in at approximately 14ft 0in X 16ft 10in. So, you can definitely get a large king size bed in here as well as several dressers and a couple of nightstands.
Within the master bedroom there are two doors. On the left-hand side the first door opens to reveal a nice walk-in closet. The closet has plenty of room for all your clothes and a little bit of extra storage up in the attic access that also sits within the closet.
The Master Bathroom
The next door leads into the master bathroom. This beautiful en-suite features a large double vanity and a beautiful soaking tub sitting back in the corner.
It also has a toilet and the shower and tub combo.
I thoroughly enjoyed this floor plan. The semi open concept allowed for each living area to be its own distinct space, yet still allowing for plenty of social spaces.
