The “Pinecrest” | #1 Double Wide Mobile Porch Ever!

The “Pinecrest” by Adventure Homes, has the coolest double wide mobile home porch I’ve seen.

It isn’t very often you come across a double wide mobile home with a porch. I can probably count the ones I have toured on a single hand.

We recently visited Preferred Homes in Grand Rapids, Michigan that had one of these beautiful models available for us to tour.

Oh my goodness! This double wide mobile home porch has to be the best I have ever seen! It is right here on the front of this beautiful shotgun style house known as the “Pinecrest”. So obviously that is kind of the main focal point here on the front of the home.

The porch itself is quite large with plenty of room for a swing and several rocking chairs I think it would look really good with some nice hanging plants as well!

As you work your way around to the side of the home, there are several windows looking out, the master bedroom and the kitchen and dining room space. Then in the middle is a doorway that leads out of a gigantic utility room.

On the opposite side of the home, again, there are several more windows coming from the secondary bedrooms and the living room.

From this big double wide mobile home of porch, you can enter the front of the house with your immediately puts you into the living room.

The living room sits on the left side of this shotgun style mobile home and has several windows looking out towards the porch and out the left side of the home. It is a large space with plenty of room for several different furniture arrangements.

Along the back wall it does have a nice spot to mount a TV or put a nice electric fireplace. I think that would give the home a little bit more of a cozy feel.  

Double Wide Mobile Home Dining Room

To the right of the door when you walk in you, lies both the dining room and the kitchen. The dining room is right around the corner from the front door, just past a partition wall, and sitting up towards the front of the home.

It also has several windows looking out onto that incredible double wide mobile home porch as well as some to the right side of the home.

The dining room itself is very nice and as toured, has a round dining room table in it. However, if you wanted to put any elongated table, to fit a few more people, it definitely has the space for that.

There is also room for some nice hutches or buffet style tables in here to just below one of the windows. 

Double Wide Mobile Home Kitchen

Just behind that, you easily flow into the kitchen, which features a beautiful island as well as plenty of cabinets.

The island has a nice, raised bar with seating for three on the dining room side. On the opposite side of that, it drops down where you will find a sink and some nice cabinets.

On the living room side of the island, there is a nice little built-in that you can show off different decorations or some of your fancier dining ware. 

Along the back walls you will find an L-shaped counter with a heap of cabinets. And when I say heap, I mean HEAP! They have so much storage inside of them!

Along the back wall, you will find a gas stove with a range hood and then as you move around to the other side of the counter you will find the refrigerator and plenty of counter space.

There is also a beautiful grey tile backsplash that really helps this kitchen look fantastic.

The only thing that is missing is a pantry… but with all the cabinets, maybe you could get by without it. Let me know about it down in the comments. 

The Utility Room

Sitting in between the kitchen and the living room is a hallway that leads back down to all the bedrooms and the laundry room.

On the right-hand side, the first door that you come to, is the utility room. It features a nice little media desk as soon as you walk through the door. Then you have the furnace closet and the water heater closet sitting on either side of a nice folding table.

On the opposite side of the utility room, you will find the washer and dryer hookups with a shelf sitting above it.

Finally, just to the right of that is a nice deep coat closet and then of course the door leading out to the side of the home. 

Secondary Bedrooms and Bathroom

Across the hall, you come to the first of the two secondary bedrooms. Both of them sit on this side of the home.

This one is the narrower of the two rooms, measuring in at approximately 11ft 10in X 8ft 8in. Not that it is small by any means, but it is laid out slightly different than the other one, However, it makes up for this with the nice deep walk-in closet. 

Past this bedroom, right before the second bedroom, is the first full bathroom. It features a single vanity, a toilet, and a shower and tub combo.

Then just beyond that, at the end of the hall, you come to the second bedroom. Again, this one has another nice window, but like I said, is slightly larger measuring in at approximately 11ft 4in X 12ft 8in.

However, the closet in this one at least the door is slightly smaller, which threw me off a little bit. The other closet door was extra wide, which I found quite interesting. But as far as the room size, there is plenty of space to put a bed, several nightstands and a nice dresser. 

The Master Suite

Then interestingly, sitting on the opposite side of the hallway, kind of in between the two bedrooms, you will find the master suite. It has a beautiful tray ceiling and a couple windows that provide a bunch of natural light.

The room measures in at approximately 12ft 10in X 12ft 8in. So, you know you can get that large California king size bed in here and maybe even a little sitting area in the corner. Then of course your nightstands and a dresser.

To one side of the room, you will find a nice deep walk-in closet with plenty of shelves. On the opposite side of the bedroom is the en-suite. 

The en-suite features a large double vanity as well as some nice built-ins. It has a walk-in shower with a glass door and a great big bench towards the back. I was shocked by this shower because it was a little bit wider than I was expecting with plenty of room, which everyone needs.

I can’t get over this double wide mobile porch! It is amazing and just has my mind running wild with all the different decorating possibilities.
