I toured the “272” by Highland Homes on a recent trip to San Marcos, Texas. For over 35 years, Highland Homes has served Texas with integrity and professionalism. The dining area sits between the gourmet kitchen and the covered back patio.

 

 

The open-concept dining area includes a decorative cutout, a modern light fixture, and hardwood flooring.

 

Living Room

 

The open-concept theme continues into the living room. A beautiful black brick-surround fireplace rests in the corner. The living room as a whole boasts hardwood floors.

 

 

Meanwhile, a sliding glass door leads out to the covered back patio. The patio includes a gas fireplace and automated screens that easily convert the outdoor space into a screened-in back patio. There is an additional door to access the covered back patio off the primary suite.

Back inside, a door off the back corner of the living room leads to the primary suite.

As mentioned, the primary suite resides off the living room and sits toward the back of the home. The stunning primary bedroom features hardwood floors, a dark board-and-batten accent wall, and even a small, sun-soaked sitting area.

The “272” floor plan boasts two additional bedrooms. Both bedrooms reside down a hallway off the dining area.

The first bedroom includes dark carpet flooring and an eye-catching black stripe design along the walls. A door off the bedroom leads to a smaller walk-in closet.

 

 

A shared hall bathroom sits between the first and second bedrooms. The bathroom includes a geometric tile floor, a single vanity, and a subway tile-surround tubbed shower.

At the end of the hall is the final bedroom. Unlike the first bedroom, this bedroom does include its own en-suite bathroom. The bathroom features a single vanity with plenty of counter space and a black tile-surround tubbed shower.
