Indiana Manufactured Home Exterior
The exterior of the “Orchard Creek” is designed as the classic manufactured home. It is single-story and perfectly rectangular.
I love the deep blue of the vinyl siding used in the model as well as the white trim around the windows and doors. It really makes the house pop and helps it stand out.
Indiana Manufactured Home Interior
Entering through the front door, you are greeted with a small foyer area with a half wall separating it from the living room. Just past the foyer is a coat/cleaning closet with shelving at the top. There is also plenty of space for a shoe rack or hall tree between the foyer and the coat closet.
The living room is a nice open-concept area that is shared with the kitchen and dining room. There are large windows at the front of the room, providing plenty of sunlight into the home.
Heading into the kitchen, the first stop is the pantry. It is a walk-in pantry with shelving down one side and it is probably six or seven feet deep. It is a little narrow but the depth definitely makes up for it. Across from the pantry is a giant island. On the living room side of the island are stools for two or three people.
The opposite side is lined with cabinets and drawers. There are also outlets located on either end. The Island is also wide enough to do kitchen prep work on both sides at the same time without being crowded at all.
Along the main section of the kitchen, you can find the stove with an overhead microwave, a giant stainless steel double compartment sink, dishwasher, and double door refrigerator. There is also more than enough counter and cabinet storage space for any kitchen gadget you can imagine.
The dining room is located right next to the kitchen. There is room for a four or six-person table as well as a small hutch or buffet table to the side. At the back of the dining room is a double sliding glass door with access to the backyard or patio.
The two guest bedrooms and bathroom are located down a hallway just off the kitchen. The two bedrooms are located on the left-hand side and are each 11ft x 15ft. That is plenty of space for a twin or double-sized bed with room to spare. Both rooms also have large windows at the front of the rooms and single-sized closets with shelving at the back.
Heading back out into the hallway, the bathroom is located opposite the two bedrooms. When entering the bathroom, there is single vanity that has a surprising amount of counter space above and drawers below. After the vanity, you will find the toilet (obviously), a shower/tub combo, and a small linen closet with several shelves inside.
At the end of the hallway with the two bedrooms is the utility room. Not only are there washer and dryer hookups, but there is also a utility sink in the corner with counter space, upper cabinets, and drawers below. There is also a built-in hall tree next to the side door leading to the outside of the home.
The master suite in this Indiana Manufactured home is located across the home on the other side of the kitchen and living room. I love the layout of this bedroom. The first thing I noticed when coming in are the large windows to the right letting tons of sunlight in. There are also picture windows straight ahead that are positioned to be above the bed.
The master bathroom is my favorite part of this suite. I love how large the bathroom is and that the master closet is located in here instead of directly off the bedroom. When entering the bathroom, to the right is a double vanity with cabinets below and a tall cabinet beside it for towels and linens.
I really enjoyed walking through the “Orchard Creek” built by Manufactured Housing Enterprises. I think that it is definitely the best Indiana manufactured home you can find! If you are ever in Indiana, make sure to check out Grandan Homes and tour some of their amazing models that are onsite.
