New Era Modular Homes Cape Cod Style House – Exterior
The outside of this stunning cape style modular home is breathtaking. On the front of the home there is a combination of a slate blue vinyl siding, as well as, some beautiful white board and batten siding. The board and batten perfectly accents the gables and the beautiful dormer sitting up on the second floor. Also, on the front of the home you will find several windows peering out of both the master bedroom, one of the secondary bedrooms and the living room.
Moving around to the back of the home you will find it several more windows coming out of both the kitchen and the second secondary bedroom. There is also a door sitting right off the kitchen. Here would be a great spot to put a big, beautiful porch and extend the overall living space.
Then finally, to the left-hand side of the home you will find a door coming out of the laundry room. Here you could put the optional garage, which would not only add some extra function to the home, but also boost some of that amazing curb appeal.
New Era Modular Homes Cape Cod Style House – Interior
Stepping inside of this cape cod style modular home, you are greeted with views of the living room, kitchen and dining room. You will also catch a glimpse of the set of stairs going to the second floor.
Just behind the main entry door, on the left-hand side, is a coat closet. The coat closet has ample space to hang up your jacket along with some extra storage space.
The Living Room
From the main entrance the home opens into the living room. The living room sits on the front side of the house with two great big windows looking out the front side of the home. The living room itself is quite large with plenty of room for several different furniture arrangements.
It has plenty of space for hosting different gatherings or just kicking back in the evenings and watching your favorite TV show. It even has a great space on the wall that backs the stairwell up to the second floor to mount a TV. The living room also has a stunning coffered ceiling which really gives the room some WOW factor.
The 2nd Floor
Just off the living room you do have the stairs that lead up to the unfinished attic space. This second floor spans the entire length of the home with plenty of opportunities to add several more bedrooms as well as a bathroom.
However, if you wanted to go another direction with it and turn it into a game room or an office space, it would also do well with that. Either way, it is unfinished, and the only limitations would be your imagination. Just make sure to let me know what you are going to do with it down in the comments.
The Kitchen and Dining Room
Moving back downstairs into the kitchen you will find one of the coolest designs I have ever seen. The kitchen has a semi L-shaped counter area that is separated by a great big corner pantry. To the left-hand side of the kitchen is a small counter space with several upper cabinets as well as lower cabinets.
Along the back wall, you will find a window looking out into the backyard and another small little counter space. Past this counter space is a built-in oven with a built-in microwave sitting just above it. Then just past that, the refrigerator. Surrounding both the oven and the refrigerator are a heap of cabinets.
Sitting in the middle of the kitchen is a great big island. Within the island is a sink looking out into the living room. To the left of that is the range, as well as, a big stainless range hood hanging down from the ceiling.
There is plenty of counter surface on the island to do all your prep work and it even has a dishwasher sitting just between the range top and the sink. On the opposite side of the island there is a nice overhang where you can add several different stools or seats, depending on your preference.
Past the kitchen lies the dining room area. The dining room is a nice big space with, of course, the door leading out into your future back deck. There is plenty of room within the dining area to add a large dining room table along with some decorative cabinets or buffet style tables.
The Secondary Bedrooms and Bathroom
Back past the kitchen and the living room you will find a hallway that leads down to the secondary bedrooms and the laundry room. On the left-hand side of the hallway, the first room that you come to is the first full bathroom. This bathroom features a single vanity, a toilet, and a nice, big shower and tub combo.
Just past the bathroom is the first of the two secondary bedrooms. This is the larger of the two. It also sits up on the front side of the home with a big window looking out into the front yard.
The room itself is quite spacious measuring in an approximately 10ft 6in X 13ft 6in with plenty of space for a nice sized bed, a dresser and a couple nightstands.
Across the hall, sitting on the backside of the home, is the second of the two bedrooms. This bedroom is considerably smaller than the first measuring in at approximately 9ft 7in X 8ft 10in.
While it would be quite tight to fit any size bed in here, I think this room would make a great office or nursery space. It does have a window looking out into the backyard as well as a nice sized closet.
The Laundry Room
All the way at the end of the hallway you will come to the laundry room. Within the laundry room is the side door that would lead out into the optional garage should you choose to have one attached. It also features the laundry connections, as well as, several cabinets and a closet.
Along the back wall is a ton of counter space and a nice deep wash basin sitting just below a big window.
The Master Bedroom
Back across the house, past the dining room, you will find the doorway into the master bedroom. The master bedroom sits on the front side of the home with a great big window looking out into the front yard. The bedroom itself measures in at approximately 15ft 6in X 12ft 11in with plenty of room for a large king size bed as well as a couple of dressers and some nightstands.
Towards the back of the master bedroom, you will find two doors. The first door leads into the great big walk-in closet. This closet has ample space for plenty of clothes and even has some room if you wanted to add your dresser or other types of storage cabinets in here.
The Master Bathroom
The second door leads into a gorgeous master bathroom. The first thing that popped out to me in this ensuite was the beautiful tile that they used on the floor. I know that is a personal preference and something that can be exchanged, however, I really liked this one.
The ensuite also features a large double vanity, a toilet, a nice built-in linen closet and a gorgeous walk-in shower. The shower also has a beautiful tile surround that goes all the way up to the ceiling and has plenty of room to move around.
Cape Cod style homes are becoming increasingly popular due to their timeless design and cozy atmosphere. New Era Modular Homes has perfected the art of creating beautiful Cape Cod style modular homes.
The home features a spacious open floor plan, with plenty of room for entertaining. The kitchen is a chef’s dream, with top-of-the-line appliances and ample counter space. The master bedroom suite is a true oasis, complete with a luxurious bathroom and walk-in closet.
