Outside The “Catherine” – Customizable Modular Homes
The outside of this beautiful Wisconsin prefabricated home is absolutely stunning. It has a nice stone facade on the front of the home that accentuates the beautiful, soft yellow vinyl siding that wraps around the entire home.
On the front of the home, around the entryway, you will find a beautiful, covered porch. It has plenty of room for rocking chairs and a couple tables. Its just the perfect place to sip on some sweet tea or some lemonade on a sizzling summer afternoon.
There is also a 2-car garage here on the front of the home. It opens on the inside into a gorgeous mud room! One of the coolest ones I have ever seen.
As you work your way around to the back of the home, you will find a great big porch. It has access into the dining room as well as plenty of windows looking into several of the bedrooms and the living room.
Inside The “Catherine” – Customizable Modular Homes Interior
As you step inside of this home you were immediately greeted by this beautiful foyer with views into the living room and the spectacular fireplace that sits there.
On the right-hand side of the foyer is a nice banister which separates the foyer from the stairwell that would lead down into the basement. There is a lovely chandelier hanging down over the top of it that was one of my favorite parts of the whole home.
Secondary Bedrooms and Bath
On the left side of the foyer there is an open doorway that leads to the two secondary bedrooms and the first full bathroom.
The first of the two bedrooms sets up on the front side of the home. When we toured it, this room was set up as an office. However, where the desk was within the office would be the closet, if you wanted to set this up as a bedroom. If not, it also makes a great office space.
There is a great big window looking out into your front yard and the room itself is quite large measuring in at approximately 11′ 0″ x 11′ 0″. So, plenty of room to fit a nice sized bed along with a dresser and several nightstands.
Moving down the hallway, you come to the first full bathroom. This bathroom features a large single vanity, a toilet, and a shower and tub combo.
Beyond the bathroom you come to the second bedroom. This one sits at the back of the home. It also measures in at approximately 11′ 0″ x 11′ 0″, and again, has plenty of room for several different furniture arrangements.
Luckily, this one did have a closet inside of it. It is nice because you can get an idea of what the other bedroom would look like with a closet.
The Living Room
Moving back out through the foyer and into the living room, you are greeted with an immense amount of windows! They provide plenty of beautiful natural light that really helps brighten the space.
In the corner you will find a gas fireplace. Perfect for cozying up on those frosty winter Wisconsin months. I love the surround on this fireplace in the beautiful white mantle that sits just above it. It just really makes it look super sharp.
The living room itself has plenty of room for a whole number of different furniture arrangements. The positioning of the fireplace and the windows provides for an easier furniture layout than most other homes that we have toured lately.
The Dining Room
Opposite the living room, you will find both the kitchen and the dining room.
The dining room sits towards the back of the home within a nice, large bump out with plenty of windows and access out onto the back porch. The dining room space is large with a few spots to put some decorative cabinets or hutches. There is also a nice large dining room table.
Along the back wall there is a little Media Center. It has a nice desk and plenty of upper cabinets with some drawers down on the bottom. When I saw this, I thought it looked exactly like a little bill paying station because it had like little mailboxes mounted up in the upper cabinets. I thought was cool.
Sitting behind the dining room is the kitchen and oh my what a kitchen it is! In the middle there is a gigantic island where you will find a beautiful under mount sink and plenty of room for several stools or chairs. To one end of the island you will find several open shelves and a fun wine rack.
On the sink side of the island, you also have plenty of cabinets and the dishwasher.
On the opposite side of the kitchen are a whole bunch of different counter spaces. A doorway that leads into the back hallway divides two counters. On one side is the refrigerator and on the opposite side is a pantry.
Then on the far-left hand side of the kitchen you will find your stove as well as a built-in microwave sitting just above it.
The Mudroom and Laundry Room
Through the doorway in the kitchen, you will come to the hallway which wraps all the way around from the foyer. It leads down to both the laundry room as well as the master bedroom.
The laundry room is the first door on the right-hand side of the hallway, and it is separated by a wonderful little pocket door. Within the laundry room you will find a whole heap of different things.
The first of which, all the way at the back, is the doorway that leads out into your two-car garage. To the left-hand side of the door is your drop zone with a nice, little bench area and plenty of counter space to drop your keys, charge your cell phones, and more.
On the opposite side of the mud room, you will find the laundry room space. There is a nice deep washbasin sitting just below a window looking out into the front of the home.
On the back wall you will find the washer and dryer hookups along with some nice upper cabinets sitting just above it. Then on the wall towards the backside of the home, is another great big counter space, perfect for any arts and crafts or just folding laundry.
The Master Bedroom
All the way at the end of the hall, on the left-hand side, you will enter the master bedroom. The master bedroom sits towards the backside of the home with plenty of large windows looking both out into the backyard and some transom windows looking into the side yard.
This room measures in at approximately 12′ 0″ x 15′ 0″ with plenty of space for a large king size bed, some dressers, nightstands and even a sitting room.
The Master Bathroom
Within the master bedroom you will find access into the en-suite. The en-suite has a super cool layout with a double vanity surrounded by plenty of cabinets.
On the opposite side of the vanity, you will find a large walk-in shower as well as a great big master closet.
Then finally, all the way at the back end of the en-suite, you will find the water closet tucked away nicely.
