While touring homes in Michigan, we had the opportunity to check out several 3 bedroom house plans including this one. Commodore Homes model 2LM-1048 or the “Quail Hollow” was on display at Fremont Homes in Fremont, Michigan.

Outside Of This 3 Bedroom House

As you approach this house, you’ll notice its lovely blue vinyl siding and large covered porch. The porch is perfect for spending lazy summer days lounging in a hammock with a good book. You’ll also see plenty of windows on the front of the house, letting in plenty of natural light.

As you walk around to the back, you’ll see a sliding glass door coming out of the dining room. This is ideal for indoor/outdoor entertaining. There’s also a side door that leads into an optional garage from the laundry room.

As soon as you walk into this house, you’ll be able to tell that it was designed with family life in mind. The coat closet and foyer provide a welcoming entryway, with views into the spacious living room.

The Living Room

This is the kind of living room that cries out for a pajama party. This is a living room designed for laughter and conversation, for dance parties and pillow fights. It’s a spacious room with plenty of different areas for people to congregate.

There’s a massive entertainment center that would be perfect for movie marathons, and the lovely windows let in just enough natural light to make the whole space feel warm and inviting.

The only thing this room is missing is a fireplace… but that’s an easy fix. Just add one and voila! You’ve got yourself the perfect place to cozy up with a blanket and a good book on a cold winter’s day.

This home features a large, spacious dining room to the right of the kitchen, that is perfect for entertaining guests. The room has plenty of space for a dining room table and access to a back porch through sliding glass doors.

This kitchen is gorgeous. The large island in the center provides plenty of seat space for guests while the ample cabinets and drawers offer plenty of storage.

The sink is conveniently located just below a window that overlooks the beautiful back yard, and there are plenty more cabinets that go all the way to the ceiling.

My favorite feature, however, is the spice cabinet. It’s a great way to add a little flair to an otherwise mundane task. Overall, this kitchen is both functional and stylish, and I’m sure any chef would be thrilled to cook in such an inviting space.

The Secondary Bedrooms and Bathroom

In between the kitchen and living room is a hallway that leads to the two secondary bedrooms and first full bathroom. The bedrooms sit on front side of the home, and they are both the same size, measuring in at 10ft 0in X 14ft 2in.

This leaves plenty of space for a bed and nightstands, as well as any other furniture you might want to squeeze in. They each have large windows and good size closets as well.

Across the hallway from the two bedrooms is the bathroom. The bathroom has a tub and shower combo and plenty of storage space for all your towels and toiletries.

The Laundry Room

Ah, the laundry room. It’s the final stop on the journey through this side of the house. It sits past the bedrooms, at the end of the hallway. This is where you’ll find the door to the outside world (aka the garage).

Not to mention, there are also washer dryer hookups, plenty of cabinets, and a nice deep wash basin. So if you’re ever in need of a place to do some laundry (or just escape from your family for a few minutes), be sure to head on down to the laundry room. You won’t be disappointed.

The Master Bedroom

This master bedroom is a real showstopper! It sits just off the dining room, making it extremely convenient for late-night snacks or early morning coffee. And it’s spaciousness is second-to-none.

It measures in at approximately 14ft 6in X 14ft 2in, so you’ll have plenty of room for a king size bed, dresser, and armoire.

But the real star of the show is the closet. It’s a walk-in with a window and bench, making it the perfect place to get ready for your day.

The Master Bathroom

This gorgeous master bathroom is the perfect place to wind down after a long day. The large corner soaking tub is especially inviting, and the built-in cabinets add a touch of luxury.

The water closet is on the left-hand side, and features a shower and toilet.

But my favorite part of this bathroom is the double vanity. It’s just big enough for two people to get ready at the same time, and it’s the perfect place to enjoy some quality time with your significant other.
