This Single Wide Manufactured Home Exterior

As we have been touring several of these single-wide manufactured homes, it has become evident that the different regions of the country utilize various sidings on their manufactured homes. This particular single wide has an almost powder blue vinyl siding. It was the only one of these Legacy Homes at their show in Fort Worth that had this type of siding.

All of their other manufactured homes had a smart panel siding, which is like a panel board. I have toured single-wide manufactured homes in New Mexico that also utilize this smart panel siding, so I don’t know if that is because of the dryer climates or not.

The front of this home has 2 doors, one at the back of the home and one up towards the front. One of the new features that this manufactured home has, and one that I haven’t seen (maybe you have) is the pet door. I thought that was nice for all of you pet lovers.

The overall footprint of the home is 16’x72′ and has a single window on the backside of the home.

This Single Wide Manufactured Home Interior

Stepping inside this home can be done from one of two ways, both on the front side of the home. Entering near the pet door you are greeted with the back hallway that opens to the secondary bedrooms. Entering in through the other door opens up into the living room with nice open views into the kitchen.

The Living Room

As you enter the home from the main front door, you enter into your main living room with unobstructed view of your kitchen. The living room is a nice size at roughly 15 feet wide, with plenty of room for an entertainment center and a number of ways to set up your furniture.

Here you will find vinyl floors that continue to run throughout the home and provide you with the opportunity to add some decorative rugs and runners and make the home your own.

The Kitchen

The kitchen has a large peninsula that doubles as the dining room table. It has space of 5 or 6 stools and offers clear views back into the living room. So don’t ever have to worry about missing the big game or favorite show.

The raised bar on the counter is also more subtle than most we have seen. I like this because it’s not a far reach if you need something on the other side.

It has plenty of cabinets and storage space and all of the important appliances such as a dishwasher, refrigerator, stove, and microwave.

The Secondary Bedrooms and Bathroom

This manufactured home has 3 bedrooms, 2 of which are located down the hall past the kitchen. The hallway opens up slightly and the first bedroom is on the right.

This room is a typical room that you would find in most manufactured homes. It sits on the backside of the home and has a large window that helps to provide some additional natural light.

The room measures approximately 10ft 7in X 9ft 0in with plenty of room for a full-size bed and a nightstand or two.

The second bedroom is a little different. It spans the width of the home with a partition in the middle that ever so slightly breaks up the room allowing for 2 beds to fit. It is the perfect room if you have smaller kids that are roughly the same age.

This room measures in at approximately 8ft 8in X 15ft 0in. It also has a window, however, this one is on the front side of the home. It also has a large closet area that is open for more space within the room.

In between the two bedrooms is the first full bathroom. It features a large single vanity, a toilet, and tubbed shower. It also has a very handy medicine cabinet sitting just over the vanity.

Across from the bathroom is the laundry area. It has plenty of room for side by side washer and dryer along with some nice shelves over the top of them.

The Master Bedroom

The master bedroom is situated on the opposite end of this home, just to the right of the front door as you enter. It is a large master that also spans the width of the home.

It measures in at approximately 11ft 7in X 15ft 0in and has plenty of room for a queen and maybe even a king-size bed. The thing I appreciated most was the walk-in closet.

It was in the bedroom and not the bathroom, which is becoming harder and harder to find in manufactured homes today.

The Master Bathroom

The en-suite sits at the back of the bedroom and has a shower and tub combo, a toilet, and a large single vanity.

The vanity only has one sink but more than makes up for it with the amount of counter and drawer space in my opinion.
