Exterior Of This Modern Farmhouse Modular Home
The outside of this spectacular modern farmhouse modular home threw me off a little bit. I knew something was different about it compared to other modern farmhouse style homes that we have seen in the past. But it did not hit me until I noticed the use of black soffit and fascia board on the home. It acts as a unique outline going all the way around the home and I just thought that it was super cool.
So, on the front of this home, you will notice the beautiful white and black accents that are typically associated with the modern farmhouse style. There is a two car garage with a black garage door and a large covered front porch.
To the far right of the home there is also a nice bump out which houses two of the secondary bedrooms. Just below this there is a nice stone facade and up above the windows is a set of double gables. All of this really gives the front of this home a lot of curb appeal.
As you move around to the back of the home, you will find even more windows peering out from the kitchen as well as the master bathroom. Back here you will also find a large sliding glass door coming out of the dining room. This would be a perfect place to add a nice porch to extend the outdoor living space.
Inside This Modern Farmhouse Style Home
The Living Room
To the left of the doorway is the beautiful living room. It has plenty of large windows looking out onto the front porch. To the far end of the living room you will find a great big gas fireplace with two beautiful built-ins on either side. There is also a nice, thick mantle sitting just above it.
The living room is again open, with plenty of space for several different furniture arrangements and a number of places to put your TV.
The Laundry Room
On the backside of the living room area, just before the dining room, is a small hallway that leads down to both the laundry room and the door out into the garage. The laundry room is quite spacious as well and has a plenty of cabinets.
To the right as you walk in you will find a unique platform with a set of drawers just below it. On top of this platform is where you would place the washer and dryer. Next to that is a large L-shaped counter with a nice deep washbasin sitting just below a window looking out into the backyard. There is also a little spot underneath of the counter for a pet bed.
All the way at the back of the laundry room you will find the half bath. However, this half bath does not have a vanity in it. It simply has the toilet and a shower. I’d imagine that the shower is like a pet wash or some other utility type shower rather than an actual bathing shower. But I could be wrong.
The Dining Room
Moving back down the hall and into the dining room, you will find a large sliding glass door that would provide access out onto your back porch or patio.
There is plenty of room for a large dining room table and a nice light fixture hanging down right over the center of it. The dining room also has tons of extra space along the perimeter to add a hutch or buffet style table to display your finer dinnerware.
The Kitchen and Pantry
Just past the dining room you will find the kitchen. I absolutely loved this kitchen because it was full of so many fun drawers! Every time I opened one up there was something new and exciting! Some of the things included a spice rack, a pull-out cutting board, a trash bin and a nice pan drawer to name a few.
But there was also a plenty of counter space as well as upper cabinets that stretch all the way up to the ceiling. In the middle of the kitchen is a massive island also. The island has plenty of cabinets and drawers on one side and a nice overhang for some stools on the opposite side.
Within the kitchen is also a beautiful walk-in pantry with plenty of shelves. More than enough room to really stock up on some of those much-needed canned goods in preparation for those Wisconsin winters.
The Secondary Bedrooms and Bathroom
To the right of the front door, as you walk in, there is a hallway that leads down to the secondary bedrooms, bathroom, and master suite.
To the left-hand side of hallway, the first door that you come to is to the first full bathroom. This bathroom features a large single vanity with a nice medicine cabinet mounted above it. It also has a toilet and a shower and tub combo. Sitting just behind the door, you will find a nice big linen closet.
On the opposite side of the hallway, you will find the two secondary bedrooms side by side. These two rooms sit on the front side of the home with windows looking out into the front yard.
They are both nice sized rooms measuring in at approximately 10ft 8in X 13ft 0in and 11ft 6in X 11ft 3in. Plenty of room in both for larger sized beds as well as several different pieces of furniture.
The Master Bedroom
All the way at the end of the hallway, you will find the entrance into the master bedroom. This bedroom is extremely large measuring in at approximately 13ft 4in X 16ft 10in.
It has more than enough room for a great big king size bed, nightstands, a couple of dressers and even a sitting space.
Working your way to the backside of the master suite, there is a small corridor that leads into the en-suite. On either side of this corridor are his and her walk-in closets.
Both closets are the same size and have more than enough room for a whole malls worth of clothes.
The Master Bathroom
The en-suite is just beyond the closets and features a stunning walk-in shower with beautiful tile surround going all the way up to the ceiling. It also has a beautiful double vanity and plenty of built-in linen cabinets.
Then at the back of the en-suite, separated by a pocket door, is the water closet. It houses the toilet as well as another towering stack of linen closets.
All in all, I absolutely adore this unique modern farmhouse style modular home. The black soffit and fascia that encompass this home are superb! Let us know what you think about it down in the comments!
