This Modular Home Exterior

The outside of this beautiful Cape Cod style modular home has this nice blue vinyl siding down on the lower sections of the home. Then up in the peaks of the gables, it has this nice brown shake siding. This just looks good and gives it a little bit extra texture. There are several windows on the front side of the home with beautiful brown trim going all the way around them as well.

As you work your way around to the side of the home, you will find one door leading out of the laundry room. On Middletown Homes website this home is shown with a two car garage, and this is where the entrance into the garage would be. If you did opt have a garage on this home, it would just add that much more curb appeal to the front, and it looks spectacular.

Then moving around to the back of the home, you will find several more windows coming out of both the master bedroom as well as up on the 2nd floor. Then finally, as you work your way around to the far side of the home, here you will find windows coming from both your kitchen as well as your living room space.

Stepping Inside (Modular Home Tour cont’d)

Stepping inside of the home, you are immediately greeted with a stairwell that leads up to the second floor and to the left of that it opens into your main living area. The second floor is quite large and has plenty of space for two additional bedrooms as well as a bathroom.

Something to consider if you wanted to finish that out and make this home just a little bit more spacious to accommodate a few more family members. It has great big ceilings and just loads of opportunity.

 Living Room

The left of this stairwell, back down on the main floor, you enter the main living room. This sets up towards the front of the house and it is surrounded by beautiful windows on two sides. They just let in a tremendous amount of natural light and it makes this room feel bright and happy.

Against the stairwell there is a beautiful accent wall. It is made of a nice rustic wood. This right here would be a perfect spot to mount your TV or even like an electric fireplace with a Mantel up above it. I think that that would look sharp as well and bring a nice cozy touch to the home.

Just beyond the living room is the kitchen. The kitchen is a nice size and in the middle, sits a unique looking island. I say unique, because it starts off with a nice square countertop before tapering off down at the end to a smaller almost point. But not quite. However, there is plenty of room for four or five chairs.

Ultimate Guide To Finding the Perfect Home Loan

I just realized even after shooting the video and now writing this post, there is no dining room in this house. (That just dawned on me.)

Anyway, moving around to the other side of the island, there are several cabinets and drawers. They are nice and deep, perfect for pots and pans and any other type of storage that you need. Then the main kitchen counter is an l-shaped where it wraps around the side of the home as well as the back. Along the side wall, is the kitchen sink that sits just below a nice window. There are also several upper cabinets, as well as, lower cabinets on this side.

Along the back wall is where the range and range hood or built-in microwave are. Honestly, that could go either way depending on what you want to put there. Then all the way to the right of the kitchen, as you are looking at it from the living room, there is a refrigerator space and several cabinets that surround it. I would imagine this to be the pantry area. It is large enough for quite a bit of food or any other type of things that you plan to store.

Secondary Bedroom and Bathroom

Just up underneath of the stairwell is a closet if you were to have this home sitting on a crawl space. However, if you did have a basement type foundation, this would be the access down into your basement.

Past this you enter a small hallway that leads to your side door, that would inevitably be your two-car garage. To the left, is the first full bathroom. It features a single vanity, a toilet and a shower and tub combo.

Across the hall, close to the side door, is a laundry room area. It has a stackable washer and dryer, as well as, a small folding table or storage table.

To the right of that is your first bedroom. This bedroom sits just on the opposite side of the stairs from the living room and up towards the front of the home. It is not the biggest bedroom, but it is a nice sized bedroom. It measures in at approximately 10ft 3in X 10ft 0in.

If you did not want to use this as a bedroom, it is the perfect office size and has that beautiful view of course out of the front of the home. I know that a lot of people are looking to either downsize or they are empty nesters and do not really need so much bedroom space anymore. So an office and hobby space is the perfect alternative.

 Master Suite

Going back out through the kitchen, towards the back of the home, you will find the master suite. This room sits in the back corner of the house.  It is quite large, and it has a lot of turns and nooks and crannies.

It also has plenty of space for a large king size bed, as well as, dressers and nightstands. Maybe even a little sitting area. It measures in at approximately 14ft 3in X 10ft 5in, which is much larger than the first bedroom that we just talked about.

Within the bedroom you do have a great big walk-in closet. I was shocked when I first walked into it! I was not expecting it to be this large. However, it has plenty of room to hang all types of clothes and store a whole bunch of stuff. You could fit several dressers in here if you wanted to free that space up from the room.

Then to the left of the master bedroom, you will enter the en-suite. Here you will find a large single vanity with large cabinets and a shower and tub combo with a nice tile surround. There is also a little toilet nook in the corner.
