Schult Modular Home Exterior

The exterior of the “Highland Park” has many customization options including siding (color and style), adding gables to the front of the home, or adding a porch or a deck.

In the model at Clear Creek that we are touring today, the home has a very modern look to the exterior. The siding around the entire home is a black vinyl siding with black trim around the windows and a black front door.

This home does have a small porch/landing area by the front door that does not come standard with the home. I think it is a nice touch, especially the natural color wood that was used. It really gives the home some depth and makes it pop.

Schult Modular Home Interior

Entering through the front door you are greeted with a foyer area. A lot of modular homes come right into the living room, so it’s nice to have this space in this home.

There is a wall cutout next to the door that would be perfect for a shoe rack or hall tree. The foyer continues on with an entrance to the living room on the right and ends at the common living area of the kitchen and dining room.

Living Room

I really like the living room in this home and it’s nice to see that it is its own room. Don’t get me wrong, I love an open floor plan but I also really like the separation of space in this home. Coming into the room, there is a built-in entertainment center to the left. It has shelves and cabinets in the middle where the TV would sit.

Then on either side, there are additional cutout shelves. Above all three sections is really pretty wood paneling and recessed lighting installed. On the opposite side of the room are three huge windows allowing tons of natural light to shine in.

Master Suite

The master suite is located just off the living room. The room is a really nice size with plenty of space for a queen or king bed along with nightstands and a dresser. There are two large windows at the front of the room and at the rear is the entrance to the bathroom and closet.

The master bathroom is absolutely stunning. To the left, there is a huge double vanity with cabinets, drawers, and shelves below. Above there is a huge mirror to match the huge vanity and really nice modern lights on both sides. If you turn around, there is a large walk-in shower with floor-to-ceiling tiling and double shower heads behind you.

Next to the shower is a luxurious soaking tub. Just looking at it makes me feel peaceful. I can just imagine sitting in the tub staring out into the woods or maybe some mountains. A glass of wine in hand and a good book. That sounds like an amazing evening to me!

Opposite the tub is the toilet and the gigantic walk-in closet. I love, love, love this closet! Usually, I’d claim the entire closet, but this one has enough room to share. There is shelving all the way around and in the middle is a large counter with a built-in shoe rack at the end.

Kitchen/Dining Room

Heading back out through the master bedroom and living room, we are heading to the kitchen and dining area, which is in a shared space. The dining area is to the right coming through the foyer. It has plenty of space for a table of four or six as well as a hutch or buffet table against the far wall. At the back of the room is the sliding glass door leading out to the backyard or deck.

The Kitchen is an L-shaped layout with an island in the middle. The island is long enough for two barstools on one side, but it is also very wide. There is plenty of room for someone to sit at the barstool and be eating or working on school work while someone preps food on the other side.

The main L section of the kitchen is lined with cabinets and drawers. All of them are soft close so that is a big bonus. My favorite is the corner cabinets. There is a lazy susan in the lower set and a smaller one for spices in the upper cabinet. There is even a tall pantry cabinet at the far end that goes from floor to ceiling.

This section of the kitchen is also home to the oven, above-range microwave, dishwasher, huge stainless sink with matching faucet, and double-door refrigerator. Across from the kitchen, there is a pantry closet that is lined with wire shelving.

Guest Bedrooms/Bathrooms

As you continue around the kitchen, there is a hallway that leads to the two guest bedrooms, a full bathroom, and a half bath. The utility room is also down this hallway but we will get to that in a little bit. The first stop is the half bathroom located on the right-hand side of the hallway. It is very simple, but also very convenient. There is a pedestal sink with space for a mirror above and a toilet just beside it.

On the other side of the hallway are the two bedrooms with a Jack-and-jill bathroom in the middle. Both bedrooms are the same size and have plenty of room for a single or double bed. Both also have walk-in closets on the outer wall of each room.

Not quite as large as the closet in the master, but still a really nice size. The back walls of the bedrooms are lined with windows to allow for plenty of sunlight to shine in. Then as you come around the room there is the door to the Jack-and-Jill bathroom.

The bathroom has a single vanity with lots of counter space on either side of the sink. Each side also has a set of drawers and a cabinet. Across from the vanity is a shower tub combo with a plastic tub surround.

Utility Room

The final stop for this Schult modular home is the utility room. It is located at the end of the hallway past the guest bedrooms and bathrooms. Entering into the living room you first come to an exterior door that leads out to the side of the home.

There is also a large counter with a wash basin in the middle and cabinets above and below. Around the corner you will find a linen closet and at the back of the room, the washer and dryer hookups with shelving above.

That brings us to the end of our tour of the “Highland Park” by Schult Modular Homes.

What did you think of the home? Is that the master bathroom suite of your dreams? Did Schult Modular design one of the best modular homes you have seen?
