Adventure Homes Single Wide Mobile Home Tour

When it comes to a single wide mobile home, you typically think of a home that is on the smaller side with not a lot of space. That is not the case when it comes to Adventure Homes single wide mobile homes! I have now toured several of their models and I would have to say, they certainly know what the are doing. This model that we are walking through today is model number “6702PHD”. It is a glorious example of the fine single wide mobile homes that are being built by Adventure Homes.

We recently visited Preferred Homes in Grand Rapids, Michigan that had one of these beautiful models available for us to tour. If you are interested in this home, it is available in several other states as well. Adventure Homes are sold in CO, IL, IN, KY, MI and TN.

Single Wide Mobile Home Exterior

The outside of this Adventure Homes single wide mobile home is 16’x76′. It is wrapped in a beautiful yet subtle yellow vinyl siding. On the front of the home there are white shutters that encase the front windows, as well as, the front entryway that leads into the living room.

On the front end of the home, there is a 6-foot deep, covered porch. This is just the coolest feature and makes this single wide mobile home unique among most other ones that I have toured. As you work your way around the backside of the home, you will find at several more windows looking out of both the kitchen living room. There is also a back door about midway down the home that leads out of the back hallway.

Stepping Inside This Single Wide Mobile Home

 As you step inside you are greeted with an amazing open floor concept. This single wide mobile home is massive feeling! The way Adventure Homes designed the floor plan helps give you a sense that this is a much larger home.

To the right of the front door, you have a nice coat closet. This, again, is something I rarely see in single wide mobile homes.

The Kitchen and Dining Room

Then beyond that, to the right of the front door, is the kitchen and dining room. The kitchen has an L-shaped countertop, where the peninsula is a raised bar providing extra seating space for approximately 3 stools.

In the corner of the counter is the sink. It sits just below one of the windows looking out the backside of the home. There are plenty of cabinets and drawers along the back wall of the kitchen, as well as, a gas stove and a microwave built in above it. Next to the counter, you will find a spot for the refrigerator. Just past that, one of my favorite things in this whole home, is the pantry.

At the end of the kitchen is where you will find the sliding glass door that leads out onto the porch. It is a very convenient location for it because, it is easy to take any food out onto the porch and just sit, relax, and have an outside meal. However, if you did not want to eat an outside meal, you could just take all your food and put it on the table inside.

This is because this is one of the few single wide mobile homes that actually has a dedicated dining room nook. It is quite amazing! I do not think I have ever seen a dedicated dining room space within a single wide mobile home. I find it so interesting and again, just another way that this home is unique!

And speaking of bigger, the space within the kitchen is noticeably big also. This means if you wanted to add some additional counter space, you could always get yourself a nice roll away island. There is plenty of room for it and you would have some extra counter area. 

 The Living Room

To the left of the front door, you will find the living room. The living room is another example of massive amounts of space within this single wide.

There is plenty of room for several different furniture layout variations and it also has a window on both the front of the home as well as the back of the home. 

 The Bedrooms and Bathrooms

Past the living room, you will find a hallway that leads to the rest of the home. The first door that you come to, on the left-hand side of the hall, is the secondary bedroom. This is a small bedroom that sits on the front side of the home. It measures in at approximately 8ft 5in X 10ft 5in and would make a great office or younger kid’s room.

Then further down the hallway, also on the left, is the first full bathroom. This bathroom features a double vanity and a shower and tub combo. The one thing that did stand out to me other than the medicine cabinet above the toilet, was the space between the toilet and the vanity. It is a great spot for a nice tall shelve that would provide additional storage space. 

Adventure Homes Just Built The Coolest Looking Single Wide Ever!

Just outside this bathroom, on the right-hand side of the hallway, is a laundry area. It has washer and dryer hookups and a nice shelf mounted above it to store all your laundry necessities. 

Finally, at the end of the hall, is the master suite. This room spans the width of the home, measuring in at approximately 12ft 0in X 13ft 0in. It has two windows on the front side of the home and plenty of space for at least a queen size bed and a couple night stands.

On the left side of the room is a step-in closet that is quite long… it took me by surprise. 

Through the master bedroom to the back of the home is the master bathroom. The master bathroom features a walk-in shower with a bench, a double vanity, and a nice size linen closet.
