Outside The “Whitney’s Ultra Modern Home Design
The home’s custom exterior boasts an asymmetrical roof and dark siding contrasting with light brick accents. There are two separate garage doors, one double-wide, offering access to the four-car garage.
The divided lit front door allows sun to effortlessly flow into the front entryway of the home. The dark siding stays consistent as you travel to the back of the residence.
The rear of the home offers a glimpse into a seamless outdoor living opportunity. While a retreat all on its own, the covered patio also includes stairs down to a secondary patio space.
Inside The “Whitney’s” Ultra Modern Home Design
Contrasting with the exterior of the home, the interior of the residence is incredibly light and bright. High ceilings and modern finishes beautifully aid a well-rounded custom interior.
Cool hardwood flooring and recessed lighting extend throughout the entry-level living space. The finished basement includes a mixture of the same wood flooring and carpeting.
Living Room
With just one glance into the living room, it is no secret the floor-to-ceiling fireplace is the star of the show. The extensive modern fireplace boasts a cozy, electric fireplace and a dark panel wall.
The floor-to-ceiling panel wall contrasts beautifully with the brightness and airiness of the rest of the home. Adding to the modernized flair of the home, an open railing with a contemporary light fixture leads to the basement level.
Recessed lighting and a large ceiling fan complete the living area. A full wall of picture windows leads seamlessly from the living area to the dining area and gourmet kitchen.
Kitchen & Dining
The dining area is conveniently centered between the living and kitchen area. Thanks to the open-concept floor plan, these three areas of the home seamlessly flow together into one continuous living space. The dining area can easily fit six at a rectangular dining table with additional seating available at the polished kitchen island just beyond.
The eat-in gourmet kitchen is pretty spectacular. Natural light floods in through the large picture windows, illuminating the clean waterfall island. The kitchen island includes a space for two bar stools, while additional storage is available on the far side. There certainly isn’t a shortage of cabinet and counter space, with plenty of each conveniently available.
Perfectly designed with a family in mind, the kitchen also includes an alcove for a double-door refrigerator. Storage is a breeze with a walk-in pantry hidden behind a custom door. A cooktop with a custom range hood, contemporary tile backsplash, and modern light fixtures complete the kitchen space.
I’d be hard-pressed to miss the opportunity to mention the impressive covered back patio. The covered back patio makes indoor-outdoor living attainable with sliding glass doors located just beyond the dining area. An additional access point is located in the primary suite.
Master Bedroom
The master suite is everything you’d imagine to see from this ultra-modern home. Take in nearby scenery through the large picture windows overlooking the backyard. Or, better yet, enjoy a private entry to and from the covered back deck.
Continuing the theme of contrasting colors and textures, an accent wall behind the bed offers both warm tones and eye-catching texture. A ceiling fan and recessed lighting complete the space.
The Master Bathroom
Just beyond, a sliding barn door leads to the en-suite bathroom. The modern touches flawlessly extend to the en-suite master bathroom.
A freestanding soaker tub and tile-surround shower are just the beginning of this impressive en-suite bathroom.
Two separate vanities line the far wall while a curbless shower anchors the room. To sweeten the deal, the incredibly sleek shower also includes multiple rain shower heads and two built-in benches.
A large master closet resides just beyond the master bathroom. The walk-in closet includes convenient built-ins and custom cubbies.
Entry Level Laundry Room
Access the entry-level laundry room through the primary closet or adjacent hallway.
The laundry room features washer and dryer hookups, and built-in storage to make laundry a breeze.
Secondary and Tertiary Bedrooms
Two additional bedrooms are located on the entry level of the home. Both bedrooms feature carpet flooring, closet space, and a shared bathroom.
The shared bathroom includes an extra large double vanity, an updated tile backsplash, and oval mirrors. There is a separate room for the tubbed shower and toilet.
Powder Room
A small powder room is located just beyond the living area of the home. The powder room flawlessly continues the flow of the dark blue cabinetry from the kitchen.
Parallel to the powder room is a mudroom-inspired wall of custom built-ins for jacket and shoe storage. Just beyond lies the owner’s entry to the spacious, four-car garage.
4-Car Garage
The four-car garage can easily accommodate larger vehicles thanks to two separate garage doors, one double-wide. The garage doors include transom windows to allow natural light to easily encompass the space.
Access the garage through the mudroom in the interior of the home, or by an exterior door located in the side yard.
Basement and Additional Bedrooms
This floor plan also includes an incredibly spacious walk-out basement. The finished basement provides an extensive wet bar, large rec space, and convenient access to the backyard.
You can easily access the backyard and patio through a sliding glass door. Designed to perfection, the wet bar really goes the extra mile with a textured island and contemporary backsplash. The wet bar has ample flexibility to become a kitchenette.
A separate rec space incorporates the textured wooden accents found on the wet bar island and built-in entertainment cubbies. Recessed lighting extends throughout the basement space.
Two additional bedrooms are located on the bottom level of the home. Both bedrooms include closet space and views of the backyard. The bedrooms share an adjoining hallway and basement bathroom complete with a tubbed shower.
Finally, the secondary concrete back patio overlooks the backyard of the home. Stairs are conveniently located just beyond to offer access to the upper level.
