As you walk around to the backside opposite the front door, you will find several windows also coming from the dining room, kitchen and master bedroom.

On the front side of the home you have several more windows coming out of both the secondary bedroom, as well as, the living room. There you will also find a small porch leading up to the front door.

The only thing that I could think about while walking around the outside of this home was extending the porch around to meet the bigger porch. That way I’d have this huge wrap around outdoor living space.

Loft and Attic

Stepping through the front door you will catch a glimpse of your great big living room with a huge ceilings. Directly in front of the doorway is a set of stairs that leads up to the loft and attic space.

At the top of the stairs, you will find a landing with plenty of room to put a great big work station. This would be a great place to use as a reading nook or turn it into a little office area. It’s a peaceful sanctuary that offers magnificent views down to the room below.

Also up here, past the loft, through a doorway, you will find an unfinished attic space. This space can be used for a number of things including storage or you could always have it finished off if you wanted to. It’s approximately 572 square feet (give or take) and it is already prepped for water and electricity.

Dividing these two spaces, is this magnificent fireplace with a stone surround and wood mantle. It soars up to the ceiling, offering plenty of space to mount a TV or any other form of decoration you can come up with. DEFINATELY my favorite part!

Kitchen

Just off of the dining room, you’ll find the kitchen. On the dining room side, there is a raised bar coming off of the peninsula that offers several spaces for stools. Stepping into the kitchen itself, you will see a horseshoe shaped countertop.

There are plenty of cabinets and drawers  and the sink sits in the middle looking out of a side window. To the left of the sink sit the stove and built in microwave. I absolutely love that all the cabinets in the kitchen are hickory! It just gives an even warmer, earthier tone to the house.

Next to the kitchen you will find a doorway. This doorway can be a number of things including; the stairwell down into your basement if you opted to have a basement type foundation or it could also serve as a pantry should you have a crawl space.

Utility Room

From the kitchen, you start working your way down the hall towards the back of the home where the bedrooms and bathrooms are. But before you get there, to the right, you will come to utility room. Here, there are washer and dryer hookups, along with the back door and furnace.
