Ok, so I know I’m a little late to the party on this one, but I just came across this amazing modular home in Wisconsin that was designed by Wisconsin Modular Homes. If you’re like me, you’re probably thinking “Modular Home? Wisconsin?” But trust me, it’s not what you think! This home is full of unexpected surprises–from the large open spaces to the unique furniture choices and accessories. Honestly, it’s just beautiful!

They just have a tremendous amount of unique designs on display at the model center in Marshfield, WI. This one, however, was my favorite! Wisconsin Modular Homes are not just limited to Wisconsin. This company also builds  several other states including: IA, MN, ND, SD, and WI.

Wisconsin Modular Homes “Brookdale” Exterior

The outside of this home has a beautiful red vinyl siding that goes all the way around it. On the front of the home, there is a beautiful entrance that has a stone pedestal on either side with two large columns going all the way up to a covered roof. There is a beautiful lantern hanging down over the top of the front door, as well as, a beautiful, exposed truss. All of this really gives a lot of character to the front side of this home.

To the left of the entryway, you will also find a two-car garage. It has another beautiful gable accent! The siding also transitions to an incredibly unique brown, board and batten siding. 

Around the backside of the home there are a whole heap of windows coming out of both the master bedroom and the second bedroom. Then just off the dining room, there is a sliding glass door. Here you could add a nice porch or outdoor patio area to expand the living space of this house.

As you step inside of the home, you are immediately greeted by a beautiful foyer that opens to reveal the living room. Within the foyer again there is a very nice light fixture hanging down over the top of the front door.

To the left of the entryway is a coat closet with two sliding doors and plenty of room to hang up all your coats or store your shoes. 

The Office

At the end of the foyer, just to the right, is a beautiful glass paned door that leads into the office. The office sits up towards the front side of the home with beautiful window and a nice desk area. Then just to the right of the desk area you will also find a beautiful closet.

The office is a nice size though measuring in at approximately 11ft 10in X 13ft 8in. You could get another desk in here if you wanted or you could put a nice little sitting area, that way you can relax and work from a number a places within the office. 

The Master Bedroom

Next to the office you will find the doorway into the master bedroom. This is one of the largest master bedrooms that I’ve seen a while touring in Wisconsin. This room measures approximately 16ft 2in X 17ft 3in, with large windows on both the backside of the home as well as off to the side.

The master bedroom has a great big tray ceiling and plenty of space for a large king size bed and several pieces of furniture. You could fit all types of things such as nightstands, dressers and even space for a little sitting room. To the left as you walk in, you will find a large walk-in closet with plenty of shelves for all your clothes. 

The Master Bathroom

To the back of the master bedroom, you will find a doorway that leads into a stunning master bathroom. Within the master bathroom, to the right, there is a large double vanity. Separating the two sinks is also a nice built-in, that goes all the way up to the ceiling. It has plenty of cabinets and shelves and even a little drawer at the bottom.

The big stunner in this bathroom though, is the bathtub! It sits just up underneath of a beautiful window looking out towards the front of the home. There is a standalone tub with a high back, which I thought was super cool looking! It also has another amazing built-in you can put some candles on or hide a bottle of wine from your spouse 😉. It also has a beautiful archway over the top of it which just gives it a ton of unique charm.

On the opposite side of the bathroom there is also a toilet, as well as, a standalone walk-in shower. 

The Living Room

Moving into the living room, which sits just at the very end of the foyer, you are greeted with beautiful views out into your backyard, courtesy of the great big windows. The living room is exceptionally large with plenty of space for several furniture arrangements.

However, you will want to focus everything on the beautiful fireplace that sits just off to the right of this living room. The fireplace has a beautiful stone surround, a nice gas insert, and a gorgeously thick mantle sitting just above it.

On either end of the fireplace, you will find two very rustic, very charming built-ins. They each have several floating shelves on the top and on the bottom, they have lovely barn wood drawers. 

The Kitchen

Now the living room is open to both the kitchen and the dining room, and you can easily transition into all three. The kitchen does have some amazing features, the first of which, is a great big island sitting right in the middle.

Over the top of the island, (my favorite part) are the three beautiful pendant lights. They gave this home just a little extra farmhouse type charm. The island, however, does have plenty of room for approximately 5 seats and several cabinets and drawers.

The main portion of the kitchen is a great big L-shaped counter, where you do have a sink sitting just up underneath of a window looking out towards the front of the home. As the counter wraps around to the right, you will find the stove along with a nice range hood. Then on either side of the range hood, are more floating shelves, which I really like it. They just add to the lightness and openness of this home.

Just to the right of the stove, there is a large, floor to ceiling cabinet, which to my surprise was not a cabinet at all! This set of doors opens into a magnificent butler’s pantry with plenty of shelves and drawers! Who knew! There is even a little counter surface to prep or stage some food.

My favorite thing about this pantry though, is not only do you have access to it from within the kitchen, but there is a doorway that leads out into the back hallway, where the garage sits. That makes it SUPER easy to bring your groceries straight into the pantry. 

The Dining Room

Just across from the kitchen is the dining room. Again, there is plenty of space for a large dining room table, as well as, a nice buffet or hutch along the back wall.

At back of the dining room, you will also find a large sliding glass door that could lead out onto a future back porch or patio. It makes for an easy place to transition from outdoor living to indoor living. 

The Secondary Bedroom and Bathroom

Sitting in between both, the kitchen and dining room, is a hallway that leads to the second bedroom. This is the smaller of the two bedrooms and it is on the backside of the home. It measures in at approximately 13ft 2in X 9ft 7in. But it does still have plenty of room for a nice sized bed, a night standard or two, and a dresser. 

Further down the hallway you will come to the second full bathroom this sits just across from the back door of the pantry. This bathroom has a beautiful single vanity as well as a toilet and a shower and tub combo. 

The Laundry Room and Garage

At the end of the hall, you will find a whole heap of things, Including your laundry room, the stairwell down into the basement, and the doorway to your two-car garage.

The laundry room has space for stackable washer and dryer and a nice little countertop. You can fold your clothes or drop your keys, or whatever you end up using that counter for.

Opposite that, there is a banister that wraps around in an L shape and hugs a beautiful little bench. Here, you can stop and drop your shoes or other things. And then finally all the way at the end of the hallway is the door that goes into your two-car garage. 

Final Thoughts

I wasn’t planning on touring this home. It was already a long day and my camera was at the end of its life for the day. BUT oh boy am I glad I did! I say it about a lot of homes but I LOVE THIS ONE!!
