I had the opportunity to tour this model while on a filming trip to West Virginia. This particular model is in Fairmont, West Virginia at Middletown Homes. Pennwest Homes builds some of the most amazing modular homes and they have a number of exceptional home designs. This triple wide definitely stands out as one of their hottest layouts though!

Pennwest Homes Triple Wide Exterior

The exterior of the Hollingsworth 2.0 is beautifully done with a nice gray vinyl siding that also incorporates a nice white shake shingle siding on the front of the home. Now this home is made of three different modules that taper up towards the back of the home where you will find the longest module.

On the front of the house there is a nice, covered porch that leads up to the front door as well as two large gables that are accented by this beautiful white shake shingle siding.

As you move around to the side of the home you will find several windows peering out of both the master bedroom as well as the two secondary bedrooms. At the backside of the house there is a nice sliding glass door leading out from the dining room. This would be a great space to put a back porch and really extend the overall living area of the home.

On the far side of the home, you will find a door leading out of the laundry room. Here you have the option to put a nice garage to extend the overall footprint of the home and really add to that curb appeal.

Stepping inside of the home you are greeted with a large open floor plan and immediately step into a grand foyer. Within the foyer you have a stairwell leading up to the second floor and plenty of space to add some inviting decorations. 

The Master Bedroom

To the right of the foyer, there is the entryway into the master bedroom. The master bedroom actually sits on the front side of the home and is quite spacious, measuring approximately 15ft 8in X 12ft 7in.

There are two large windows looking out into the front yard and plenty of space to put a large king-size bed. You could also put a couple of nightstands, a dresser and maybe squeeze in a sitting area in here also. 

Within the master bedroom you also find the ensuite. This ensuite features a large double vanity with plenty of counter space and some nice vanity lights. At the back of the bathroom there is a gigantic walk-in shower with the tile surround going all the way up to the ceiling.

Additionally, inside of this bathroom you will find the large master closet. This closet has so much space in it, and it is probably bigger than some of the bedrooms that I have seen in most of these homes. 

The Living Room

Coming back out through the foyer, you will find yourself in a massive living room space. The living room actually extends all the way to the stairwell, but I love how they had it set up. The couch met the wall and allowed for a nice walkway past the living room and into the kitchen.

But within the living room you have ample space to layout the furniture in a number of different ways. And the windows looking out the front of the home provide so much natural light. This really helps the space feel a lot bigger, I think. 

The Kitchen and Dining Room

From the living room, you transition into the kitchen and dining room. The kitchen has a nice size island sitting right in the middle, not too big, not too small, it is simply perfect for the space. On the living room side, it does have a little overhang so you can put a couple of stools. On the opposite side facing the kitchen, you will find a couple of cabinets and some drawers. 

The kitchen itself is laid out in an “L” shape, as most are that we have been seeing lately. On the left-hand side of the kitchen, you will find the stove with a nice built-in microwave sitting just above it.

Then as you move around to the back wall, you will find the sink sitting just below a nice little window looking out into the backyard. Here you will also find a dishwasher and a nice big spot for your refrigerator.

As far as cabinets go you will not be left wanting. There are several upper and lower cabinets that provide plenty of room for all the storage you could ever want. 

To the right of the kitchen, you will find a nice big dining room. Here there is plenty of space for a large dining room table and a couple additional cabinets or buffet style tables if you wanted to spruce the space up a little bit. Sitting at the back of the dining room you will find a nice sliding glass door leading out onto, hopefully a future back deck or patio area. 

The Secondary Bedrooms and Bathroom

Then just off the dining room you will find a small hallway that leads down to the secondary bedrooms as well as the first full bathroom. The first door that you come to on the left-hand side will be the bathroom.

This bathroom features a single vanity with some nice vanity lights, a toilet, and a shower and tub combo. 

At the end of the hall, you will find the two secondary bedrooms. The bedroom on the right-hand side is the smaller of the two. This is really only because it has a protruding closet. It is still a good size and measures in at approximately 10ft 9in X 11ft 4in. It has a nice-sized window looking out into the side yard and plenty of space for a bed, some nightstands, and a dresser. 

The bedroom on the left-hand side, again, is slightly larger or at least feels slightly larger due to the closet placement. This bedroom has a nice window looking out into the backyard and measures in at approximately 11ft 3in X 12ft 11in. Here, you can also put a nice sized bed and several other pieces of furniture. 

The Laundry Room

Moving back across the house, passed the kitchen and living room area, you will come to the utility room. The utility room does have a door that could lead out into your optional garage.

Then as you turn the corner you will notice a heap more storage space via plenty of upper and lower cabinets. These upper and lower cabinets encase a beautiful counter space with a nice deep wash basin and a cute little window looking out into the backyard.

Here you will also find that your washer and dryer hookups as well as the water heater and a nice coat closet. 

The 2nd Floor

Moving upstairs you will find an unfinished attic space. However, that is just in this model. You can easily work with your builder to finish this space up and include a couple different options. You could add additional bedrooms, a game room, craft room, office space etc.

Now the attic does span the whole width of the home with several dormers that allow you to get in there and create some nice cozy nooks. But overall, a massive space, and you are only limited by what your imagination can conceive.
