Ultra Modern Modular Home Exterior

The exterior of the “Jade Tree” is one of my favorite modular homes that we have toured so far. The siding of the home is a super modern black matte all the way around and there is beautiful contrasting natural wood vertical trim above and below the windows. The roof is also very modern and has an angled sawtooth roof pitch which really adds to design of the home.

There is an optional front porch on the home that is made of the same wood as the accent trim above and below the windows. It really makes the home pop because of the contrast between the black siding and natural-colored wood. Heading up onto the porch, there is a suspension entry roof above the lovely matching black front door. There is a ton of room on the porch for this home. I think some Adirondack chairs would look really nice, and maybe a nice outdoor plant or potted tree as well.

Living Room

Coming into the home, you are greeted with a really bright and airy open floor plan. I really like the angle of the ceiling throughout the home along with the recessed lighting that spans this whole section of the home.

There is a combination of large and small windows lining the outside wall of the living room, kitchen, and dining room that let in so much natural light. It really makes the space feel so much larger and open than it is.

Kitchen

The kitchen in this modern modular home is situated between the living room and the dining room. They really maximized the space by having it be a pass-through kitchen and utilizing both sides of the room for the cabinets and counter space.

On one side are the refrigerator and built-in microwave with a good amount of counter, cabinet, and drawer space. Then on the opposite side of the room, there is the stove and oven with even more counter and cabinet space. The cabinets on this side of the room are really neat because they have open storage cubbies at the top.

Then, in the middle of the kitchen is a really nice-sized island with a large undermount sink and dishwasher. There is seating space at the island for three or four barstools on one side and on the other side with the dishwasher, you will find it lined with cabinets and drawers.  Above the island are pendant lights that match the modern decor of the home and provide some additional lighting.

Dining Room

Past the kitchen, at the end of this section of the home is the dining room. There is enough space in this room for a four or six-person table and a buffet or hutch along the inside wall. At the back of the room is a large sliding glass door leading to the backyard. This room is also very open with plenty of windows and light shining in.

Guest Bedrooms and Bathroom

Heading back towards the front of the home towards the living room, there is a hallway that leads to the second and third bedrooms, guest bathroom, and utility room.

The first bedroom we are entering is the one at the front of the house. There are two large windows at the front of the room and a double-door closet at the back. The room is a really nice size and can definitely fit a queen size bed along with a dresser and night tables.

The next stop down the hallway is the guest bathroom. There is a single vanity to the right when first entering the bathroom. There is a neat raised sink and faucet with a waterfall spout and plenty of counter and cabinet space on the vanity. Past that are a toilet and a shower tub combo at the back of the room.

Utility Room

After the bathroom there is a hall closet located on the left and following that is the utility room. There are washer/dryer hookups to the left when you first enter the utility room. Above the hookups is a wood shelf for all of your laundry needs. At the end of the room, there is a small cubby area with more wood shelving for linens, cleaning supplies, or whatever else you want to keep on them.

The final stop down this hallway is the third bedroom. It is the smallest of the three bedrooms, but it still is a pretty nice size. It has the same layout as the first bedroom we went to. Windows at the front and the closet on the opposite side of the room, this closet is slightly small though, and doesn’t have the double doors on it.

Master Bedroom

The master suite is located in its own little section of the house just off the dining room. I love the windows in this room! There are larger windows at each end of the room and then along the same wall, there are smaller windows along the top half of the wall that crank out.

They would most likely go above the headboard of the bed. On one side of the room is a giant walk-in closet with nice wood shelving that spans the entire “L” of the closet. On the other side of the room is the master bathroom.

Master Bathroom

As soon as you enter the bathroom you are greeted with a floating double vanity. It has the same modern raised sinks with waterfall spouts as the guest bathroom. There is also cabinet and drawer space under the sinks and mirrors above with vanity lights on both sides.

To the right of the vanity is the water closet separated by a pocket door. To the left of the vanity is a walk-in shower that is tiled from floor to ceiling. It even has cutout shelves that are built into the wall and tiled. I like how large and open the shower is and the half wall with a glass next to the vanity.
